Back in 2014, Microsoft ended support for Windows XP and despite that, Windows XP is still in use around the world. The latest usage figures from NetMarketShare shows that XP has a 6.13% share of the market, leaving Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 behind, and it’s still to be found in many businesses. Windows XP 2018 concept brings back memories.

A tech Youtuber Kamer Kaan Avdan shared a concept of Microsoft Windows XP 2018 edition which you’ll fall in love with. Avdan who has previously made a concept of Android 9.0, Windows 11 and iOS 12, shared a lovely concept of Windows XP adopting some features from the companies latest OS version ‘Windows 10‘.

Windows XP was produced as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems 17 years ago and the final service pack (SP3) came out a decade ago. If Microsoft were to update XP, what would it feel like following the concept of Avdan? I’d say, it’ll look absolutely cool if the modern features and design are brought together.

Avdan made some great efforts by merging the old Windows XP with Windows 10 design elements and components and still you have that Windows XP maintain its default style with a whole new feel.

The Windows XP 2018 concept introduces fluent design, Cortana, Edge browser, Timeline, a redesigned File Explorer, Start Menu look more like Windows 10 and a lot more. Also, you get to see Rover, the cute search dog again on the search page.
